Our people are, without question, our most important resource. Therefore, we put enormous emphasis on learning and development, with both formal and informal training and coaching taking place at every level in a career with BCG. We have a carefully designed training curriculum to ensure that individuals' skills development keeps pace with their tenure at BCG. Local, regional and global training is arranged by cohort to enable our consultants to deal with relevant issues at each stage of their careers and to provide an opportunity for cohorts to share experiences and build networks. In addition, our practice groups organize yearly regional and global conferences on industry-specific topics. Regional training is overseen by a Partner and managed by our Regional Training Manager, assisted by the Regional Training Coordinator. Each office also has a local training resource, made up of a cadre of Project Leaders, Principals and Partners – with a strong interest in training and people development.
