Each year, our offices organize various local social events. The Greater China family gets together at least once a year, either during the BCG Greater China Summer Outing or at our Christmas Party.

Chinese Spring Dinner

In the traditional Chinese way, Spring Dinner takes place in the first week after the Chinese New Year, which kicks-off our annual office events. We are not gamblers, and the event doesn't take place in a casino, but you will definitely see staff playing mahjong and cards before the dinner. If you have never experienced a traditional Chinese dinner, you should prepare your stomach for a 10 main courses, followed by fruits and desserts.

BCG China Sports Tournament

Our people are not only good at providing strategic advice, but also committed to making it happen! The sports tournament held in Shanghai builds team spirit in the office. Each team plays 'hard and dirty' to win, and the event often ends in laughter rather than prize-giving!

Bi-monthly Birthday Parties

Of course, these are scientifically designed to find similarities among staff born under the same star signs. Or they could be just another excuse for food, drinks, and FUN!!

Greater China Summer Outing

Our summer never gets as hot as Africa's or Europe's, but we deserve a break. All of us take this opportunity to meet our colleagues in the region. These are the few days in the year when you know you won't receive an urgent call from a Partner while relaxing at the poolside with your family! They are also the days where we show just how good we are at playing, team-building, eating, and drinking.

Greater China Christmas Party

To wrap up the year and celebrate our achievements, we dive into Christmas carols. The Christmas Party is when we get to hear the very secret office gossip, enjoy special performances from our professionals, and receive a Christmas gift for shopping and dining in Greater China, or traveling in Asia, Europe or elsewhere.

We are energetic people in BCG Greater China. We enjoy bowling, go-karting, beach barbecue, sailing, hiking, and paintball. When we feel the need for less strenuous pursuits, a wine tasting in the office, a weekend movie night or the happy hour at a nearby pub are just as satisfying.
