Doug joined BCG's financial services practice in Hong Kong in 2002, and was elected Partner and Managing Director in 2003. He specializes in helping leading multinational and Asian financial institutions succeed through major corporate events such as mergers and acquisitions and restructurings/turnarounds, as well as through innovative strategies.

Before joining BCG, Doug led the Hong Kong and Taipei offices of A.T. Kearney, where he was a principal in their Financial Services Practice. He holds an MBA, with honors, from Columbia Business School as well as a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. Doug started his consulting career in 1989 in New York and did a stint in Moscow before moving to Hong Kong in 1997.

Doug enjoys spending time on his sailboat, as well as wakeboarding, scuba diving, golfing and skiing. He likes to cook and enjoys good wine and the occasional martini with friends. He's also an avid traveler, having traveled for pleasure through more than 50 countries.
