David joined BCG’s Shanghai office in 1998, and has since worked extensively for both multinationals and local clients in China.

David is a key member of BCG's automotive and industrial goods practice, and has broad experience in providing advice to clients on strategic and operational issues across the value chain.  Prior to joining BCG, David worked as a project leader for Bristol-Myer Squibb in Princeton, New Jersey.

David holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a PhD in Biomedical Science from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and a BS in Genetic Engineering From Fudan University.

David is a native of Shanghai.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and tennis, and spending time with his wife and son, as well as his broader group of family and friends.
