Alain is a Partner and Managing Director based in BCG's Hong Kong office and serves financial services clients in Greater China.  He has deep experience in assisting leading financial institutions around the region to improve their overall performance by designing sharper strategies, organizing for success, accelerating organic growth, acquiring new businesses and significantly reducing costs.

A French national, Alain has consulted for clients in North America, Europe and Asia, where he moved in 1998 from New York.  Before joining BCG, Alain was a Principal and co-leader of A.T. Kearney's Greater China Financial Services practice.  He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and an MS from the Institut National Agronomique (Paris).

Alain enjoys spending time with his wife Edna, his 5-year-old son, and 1-year-old daughter.  He is an avid long-distance runner, enjoys good food and fine wines, and makes a point of reading a few pages of a good book every day. Alain has lived in Paris, London, New York and Hong Kong, and has spent significant time working in another dozen cities worldwide.
