William is a Partner and Managing Director based in BCG's Hong Kong office and leads the Information Technology practice in Greater China, focusing on the Financial Services industry. He has over 10 years of management consulting experience in assisting leading international and domestic companies in Greater China, Asia, Europe and in the US. More recently he has been working with many of the leading Chinese banks on transformation and strategic IT related issues; where his clients include a major SOE bank and several of the progressive shareholding banks.

Prior to joining BCG William worked for A.T. Kearney for 10 years where he became the General Manager of the Hong Kong office and led both the Financial Services and Strategic Information Technology practices in Greater China. In this role, he was successful in establishing and managing a multi-year relationship with one of the leading shareholding banks in China. William also worked for EDS in the United Kingdom for 5 years where he was involved on several large-scale IT programs and projects in Europe, US and Asia.

William holds a Masters degree in Information Technology from University College London and a Bachelors degree in Physics from King's College London.
