When I interviewed with BCG, I was very impressed by the people. Unsurprisingly, they were intelligent and sharp, but they were also unexpectedly affable and caring. I wanted to be one of them and was therefore very happy to accept the offer. My three years at BCG have confirmed and strengthened my first impressions. My colleagues are smart and unassuming, with interesting and diverse backgrounds. Project team members work collaboratively and are always open to questions and suggestions from all levels. The firm also respects our lives outside the office, and our commitment to our families, significant others and friends. The work is demanding. Focusing on impact, we keep pushing the envelope for newer, better and more effective ways to create real value for our clients. This often involves pooling our knowledge and skills, or tapping into BCG’s global expertise, in a supportive environment where we can learn and grow together. We also have fun. Some of us often play badminton and tennis together, and go to movies or shows from time to time. It is always a pleasant surprise to find that people in your office share your hobbies and enthusiasms. |
