For me, the ideal profession has to be intellectually challenging and it should constantly create opportunities to learn new things. A consulting career fits these criteria very well. Since I started working in consulting, I have never stopped thinking and learning.

I chose BCG mainly because I was attracted by the idea of working with very intelligent people who are also fun to be around. At work, I discuss, dispute and learn from these people. After work, we are very good friends who have fun together.

For me, one of the most inspiring parts of working at BCG is seeing how our efforts build our clients' total trust and respect. Many of them see BCG as a long-term business partner and keep on working with us for years.

It is also satisfying and rewarding to see the enormous impact our work can have. Recently, I helped a multinational company develop its distribution strategy in China.  Our recommendations not only had a significant impact on our client's business, they also affected the whole industry.

Outside work, I love playing golf, horseback riding and travel. I have traveled to more than 20 countries in the world, and will continue to explore the rest of the world in my spare time.
