BCG's Greater China practice includes our Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Taipei offices. We draw case teams from the pool of staff in all four offices, so you could be working anywhere in Greater China. However, we try to staff people in their home offices, unless they actually want to travel. If you are working outside your home office, you typically fly back to spend Fridays there and the weekends at home.
As a global firm, BCG also provides opportunities for experienced consultants to work on projects outside Greater China and to transfer between offices.
In addition, the worldwide Ambassador Program for top-performing consultants provides a 12-month inter-office transfer, with the firm providing some incremental living expenses, language training, and return trips.
